This blog is where I’ve chosen to publish my grandmother’s autobiography after carrying it around in a beat-up plastic case for over 38 years. My grandmother spent much of her later years working on the manuscript, and I remember the pages strewn about her apartment. After she died in 1978, my father entrusted me with the manuscript.  As the editor, I’ve made minor changes throughout, and where pages were missing, I’ve filled in what I think Aggie might have written.  “Editor’s Notes” indicate where those parts are inserted for continuity. See also the link Editor’s Notes for insight into how this project evolved.
